1. Special Event - Mother's Day - Sunday, May 9
Our chefs are preparing a very special menu to treat your mums on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9 - a three-course culinary adventure with a Kir Royal for your mum on arrival and a few surprises along the way - and you can even treat your mum to that special bottle of wine or champagne you have been saving for this occasion in your cellar!!! 2. Special Event - Melbourne Foodie Experimentators
When: Monday, May 31, 7pm 
Where:
Le Bistro, 121 Greville Street, Prahran AND at the same time at L'Epicerie, 256 Glen Eira Road, Elsternwick - Click here to view the photos and the menu from our last event. 
For those not familiar yet with the concept, Foodie Experimentators get together over a degustation dinner consisting of the innovative dishes not on our regular menu. The Foodies are asked to fill in a fun questionnaire about various aspects of each dish, including the taste, presentation, and... even the name! Each dish is served with a matching wine or aperitif. The next event will take place on Monday, 31 May 2010, at 7pm. Cost: 44pp (plus 31 for matching wines [optional, but highly recommended])

3. Special Lunch Deals
A reminder that Chez Olivier dishes out the best lunch deals in town, with entrees at 10, mains at 18, and desserts at 10. Combine any two courses for 25; or why not have all three courses at 30 only! And if you are totally on the run, how about our selection of freshly baked charcuterie, smoked salmon, or vegetarian baguettes for only 10 - all served with a handful of sinful pommes frites! for all of you business types who can't tear yourself away from your laptops, L'Epicerie now has full WiFi wireless access (ask our staff for more details).




4. Cellar Nights
Ever wondered about all those bottles from the world's most exclusive wineries that are lining up our walls? In addition to our wine list - the details of which you can check out here - from Sunday to Thursday you are welcome to enjoy our delicious cuisine with that special bottle from the depths of your own cellar - and chances are it might be added to our "hall of fame" collection! (corkage charges apply)




5. Rencontre Autour d'un Verre
Every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 @ Le Bistro in Prahran from February 2, 2010
Every Tuesday night we are hosting Rencontre autour d'un Verre - "L'objectif est de ne parler que francais pendant une heure et plus..." If you want to de-rust your French, practice a little, or simply partake in the conviviality of a small group of Francophiles while nibbling on delicious morsels especially prepared by our chefs and enjoying a glass wine dans la langue de Moliere, call me to sign up for our weekly gatherings on 0438 357 099.
New members and friends always welcome. Cost: 30 pp
