1. Special Event - Afternoon of Music and Art with Tracey Roberts 
When: Sunday, June 6, 4 - 6 pm
Where: Le Bistro, 121 Greville Street, Prahran
We are pleased to announce the opening of our new exhibition - recent works and limited edition prints by Melbourne-based, internationally renowned singer, songwriter, and artist Tracey Roberts. The exhibition is titled "Resonance", and represents the melding of music and visual art. So, join Tracey this Sunday afternoon, and enjoy a glass of wine while looking at her wonderful works and listening to a selection of songs from her recent albums - with a promise of a live performance by Tracey herself!



2. Special Event - Melbourne Foodie Experimentators - Take Six
When: Monday, June 28, 7pm 
Where: Le Bistro, 121 Greville Street, Prahran AND at the same time at L'Epicerie, 256 Glen Eira Road, Elsternwick - Click here to view the photos and the menu from our last event. 
For those not familiar yet with the concept, Foodie Experimentators get together over a degustation dinner consisting of the innovative dishes not on our regular menu. The Foodies are asked to fill in a fun questionnaire about various aspects of each dish, including the taste, presentation, and... even the name! Each dish is served with a matching wine or aperitif. The next event will take place on Monday, 28 June 2010, at 7pm. Cost: 44pp (plus 31 for matching wines [optional, but highly recommended]). Please, note that bookings for this event are administered by www.meetup.com and cannot be taken through Chez Olivier. So,

3. The Truffle Season
It is getting cold and wet outside, which for us could only mean one thing - our famous truffle season is about to begin. Last year we brought some truffles from Western Australia that we were particularly impressed with, so we have already organised a further supply of "Black Diamonds" for this year. Our wonderful chefs, Jacky, Kobi, and Adrian, are coming up with a number of delectable dishes with truffles, which will be a constant feature on our Special Menu boards throughout winter.



4. Farewell the 2009-2010 Financial Year @ Chez Olivier
Well, it has been another "interesting" year on the financial and economic fronts everywhere - in Australia, the United States, Asia, not to mention Europe... However, we have weathered it well, so I am inviting you to get together with your colleagues and workmates and raise a glass or two over brekky, brunch, lunch, or dinner to the end of the 2009-2010 Financial Year. We have function room facilities both at Le Bistro and L'Epicerie, in addition to which L'Epicerie now has full WiFi wireless access (ask our staff for more details). 5. Rencontre Autour d'un Verre
Every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 @ Le Bistro in Prahran
Every Tuesday night we are hosting Rencontre autour d'un Verre - "L'objectif est de ne parler que francais pendant une heure et plus..." If you want to de-rust your French, practice a little, or simply partake in the conviviality of a small group of Francophiles while nibbling on delicious morsels especially prepared by our chefs and enjoying a glass wine dans la langue de Moliere, call me to sign up for our weekly gatherings on 0438 357 099.

6. Galerie Chez Olivier
An exhibition of works by Tracey Roberts will continue through June. Tracey's music CD's, greeting cards, and bookmarks will be also available for sale at Le Bistro.
