Janne Apelgren, the editor of The Age Good Food Guide 2010, wrote (p. 56):
"Neighbourhood restaurants don't come much more appealing than Chez Olivier, with its cozy bistro fitout and myriad deeper charms. The French waiters do textbook bonhomie, there's an enthusiastic approach to wine, and the food is an endearing mix of Gallic classics and cross-cultural remixes..."

Matt Preston in the Age Epicure: "Pop in for a glass and stay for a bite - and the rest of the bottle." A little out of date as we changed the menu and improved the venue since his visit, but we think that he got it quite right regarding the atmosphere.
